MILAN, Italy – February 10, 2025 – Glassesshare, a leading global provider of eyewear OEM/ODM solutions, concluded its successful participation at MIDO 2025, the world’s premier international eyewear exhibition held at Fiera Milano from February 8 to 10. As one of the key exhibitors in Pavilion 2, the company showcased its latest collection of optical frames, sunglasses, and smart eyewear prototypes, attracting extensive attention from buyers and industry professionals worldwide and securing intentional orders totaling $2.8 million.

This year’s MIDO exhibition gathered over 1,200 enterprises from more than 50 countries, serving as a crucial platform for industry players to display cutting-edge innovations and explore global business opportunities. Glassesshare’s booth stood out with its minimalist and modern design, featuring three core display zones: Sustainable Collection, Smart Eyewear Series, and Customization Showcase. The company’s team of 15 professionals, including design directors and sales managers, provided one-on-one consulting services to visitors, detailing its full-chain OEM/ODM capabilities from design conceptualization to mass production.

The star attractions of Glassesshare’s booth were its eco-friendly eyewear line and AI-integrated smart glasses. The sustainable collection, crafted from recycled ocean plastic and biodegradable acetate, resonated strongly with global buyers amid the growing emphasis on environmental protection. “We’ve noticed a significant shift in market demand towards sustainable products. Our recycled plastic frames not only meet international environmental standards but also maintain high durability and aesthetic appeal,” said Alex Wang, CEO of Glassesshare. “Several European retail chains have expressed strong interest in this line, with intentional orders covering 120,000 units.”

In addition to sustainable products, Glassesshare’s prototype of smart glasses equipped with lightweight AR technology drew crowds. The product features a sleek, ergonomic design that integrates basic health monitoring functions such as blue light filtering and eye fatigue reminders, targeting the fast-growing consumer electronics and wellness markets. “Our smart eyewear solution balances functionality and wearability, addressing the pain points of bulky designs in current products,” explained Sarah Chen, R&D Director at Glassesshare. “We’ve signed preliminary cooperation agreements with three tech companies from the US and Japan to develop customized smart eyewear for their brand lines.”

The exhibition also provided Glassesshare with valuable insights into industry trends. The company’s team observed that 2025 eyewear trends are leaning towards personalized customization, multi-functional integration, and minimalist aesthetics. Many buyers showed interest in Glassesshare’s flexible customization services, including personalized frame designs, logo embossing, and color matching. “We offer OEM services for clients with existing designs and ODM solutions for those needing full design support. Our 7-day sampling and 20-day mass production cycles give us a competitive edge in the market,” added Alex Wang.

Beyond securing orders, Glassesshare took the opportunity to strengthen partnerships with existing clients and establish connections with new potential partners from emerging markets such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. The company also participated in the MIDO Industry Forum, where Sarah Chen delivered a speech on “Sustainable Innovation in Eyewear Manufacturing,” sharing Glassesshare’s practices in reducing carbon emissions and promoting circular economy in production.

As MIDO 2025 comes to a close, Glassesshare is already planning its next steps to fulfill the orders and deepen cooperation with new partners. “This exhibition has reinforced our confidence in expanding our global footprint. We will continue to invest in R&D to enhance our technological capabilities and sustainable production practices, providing better OEM/ODM solutions for our clients worldwide,” concluded Alex Wang. With the momentum from MIDO 2025, Glassesshare is poised to achieve significant growth in the global eyewear market this year.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
